A Tropical Introduction
Climates in Tropical Africa consist of humid and moist conditions throughout the year, mostly caused by the tropical rain belt and the mountain chains. The tropical rain-forests in Africa consist of semi-deciduous trees for example the Ofram (Teriminalia superba), a fast growing pioneer tree located along west and central African countries. The Tropical Rainforest is located among the Central, Eastern and Western parts of Africa, as you can see in Figure 1 below the green areas on the map are densely populated with trees and represent Africa's tropical rain-forest.
Africa spans to be 3.64 Million Kilometers squared and is one of the most diverse areas on earth in terms of biodiversity.
